What are some games you think everyone should try at least once? Leave your nice comments below.

Hey guys you may also think about listing some of your games in terms of “average length of play” or “typical play time”. Some of your patrons may be just want to play a couple of brief games and not want to invest several hours of game play while others may have time to spend, but aren’t necessarily looking for something that involves ‘campaign’ level investment. Knowing which games will generally last less than an hour and which ones could last up to 3 hours would be helpful. Thanks

This is a great idea! Thank you, we’ll look into adding length into our color-coding sticker system.

Have you tried Farkel? It’s easy to learn, I played it with a group of strangers on vacation once and everyone had a great time. It uses 6 dice to earn points depending on the combination of numbers rolled (similar to poker hands). Check it out!

We have this available for play in the cafe and couldn’t agree more.

Some of my favorite games, that I can bring sometime, Betrayal at the House on Haunted Hill (first part of the game, everyone’s just exploring a mansion; second part of the game, one is the players betrays the others, and it becomes all vs 1, and the 1 has increased abilities to level the playing field.)
Dead of Winter: Zombie survival, mostly a coop game, but could be 1 maybe 2 betrayers.
Red Dragon Inn: what do your fantasy ttrpg characters do at the inn over night? They drink and gamble, of course! Each character has a totally unique play style, from a Druid to a wizard with a bunny he pulls out of a hat, to the bunny itself who has gotten a bit hungry… gotta balance your health, hold your liquor, and not loose all your money in this game.

I love that your game list tells a story. You visit a strange house where mystical things happen that lead to the zombie apocalypse. Surviving both of those ordeals, you enjoy some games at the tavern. ????
These are all fun games in our library that we’d like to see played more. We even also have a Scooby Doo version of the Betrayal game. Thank you for your lovely descriptions!
